Dr. Gil Bozer is a workplace coaching researcher, author, senior lecturer, and consultant. Gil’s areas of expertise include workplace coaching, leadership, talent development, and executive succession. Gil is on the faculty at Sapir Academic College, Israel. Gil had taught in graduate and undergraduate programs, executive education, and corporate training programs.
Gil is passionate about evidence-based practice and teaching and incorporates his research into his teaching and consulting practice. Gil’s pioneering research into workplace coaching effectiveness offers valuable insights and implications to both practitioners and scholars and has contributed to the quality and rigor of coaching as an evidence-based profession.
Gil is an author of numerous articles in leading practitioner magazines such as Training Magazine, Harvard Business Review Italia, Chief Executive, and Nonprofit World as well as for scientific journals such as Human Resource Development Quarterly, Applied Psychology: An International Review, European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology, Human Resource Development Review, Personnel Review, European Journal of International Management, Journal of Small Business and Enterprise Development, Consulting Psychology Journal: Practice and Research, and Journal of Management Development.
Gil has presented at many international conferences and published book chapters and case studies on coaching and leadership. Gil serves as a member of the editorial board in Leadership & Organization Development Journal, International Journal of Training and Development, International Coaching Psychology Review, and Development and Learning in Organizations: An International Journal.
Gil earned his Ph.D. in Management from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia.
